Grant Scheme

The Society is pleased to offer grants for projects of an entomological nature, or of benefit to invertebrates.

Outline of the scheme

  1. The Society will consider applications for grants for projects of an entomological nature, or likely to be of benefit to entomology/invertebrates.
  2. Any applications must be received, in writing together with a stamped addressed envelope, by the Secretary of the Society by 30th November each year.
  3. Any awards granted will be presented at the next AGM, or by post thereafter if the recipient is unable to attend the AGM
  4. The Society shall have full discretion with regards to the amount awarded (it is anticipated that the maximum amount for a single award will be £2000), and any restrictions or conditions placed upon the grant, and also to refuse any or all applications received. The decision of the Society shall be final.
  5. The Society shall have the opportunity to ask for any more information deemed necessary to enable the application to be considered fully.
  6. Should the applicant fail to comply with anything in clauses 2, 4 or 5, the Society shall consider the application as being withdrawn.

Selection

Selection will initially be by a panel of three Council members and then a recommendation to Council.
