Bug Club member in The Times

Published: 10 August 2008

This week The Times featured an article on nine-year-old Rachel McLeod, an AES Bug Club member. The article extolled the virtues of keeping insects as pets and also promoted invertebrates in general.

Many AES members will remember Rachel's fantastic talk on the social behaviour of Madagascan hissing cockroaches at our 2008 AES Members' Day.

The Times article also featured quotes from AES secretary Dafydd Lewis and a previous member of AES council, Darren Mann, now assistant curator of the entomology department of Oxford University's Museum of Natural History.
