SUMMARY:Hands-on Natural History at the Horniman
LOCATION:The Horniman Museum, 100 London Rd, Forest Hill, London, SE23 3PQ. UK
DESCRIPTION: The Horniman Museum in Forest Hill, London SE23, is celebrating Darwin's bicentenary with a number of Darwin-themed events and exhibitions, to tie in with their own extensive natural history collections. As part of this, they are offering an after-hours natural history session, 'Hands On Natural History' on Thursday 26th February. The event forms part of the Museum's 'Thursday Lates' programme of free late-night cultural events for adults, and will take place in the Horniman's Hands On Base from 7 - 8pm. The Hands On Base is an interactive space which enables visitors to get up close to, and handle, the museum's objects. The event is free, but you need to book places in advance (details also on this page).
