SUMMARY:Singing Insects for KS1 & 2
LOCATION:Gloucester City Museum & Art Gallery, Gloucester, Gloucestershire, UK.
DESCRIPTION: Discover which insects have the X factor in this fantastic, fact filled, famously fun Singing Insects session. With help from a Newcastle University Zoology Student we will be exploring the musical side of entomology. With lots of hands on activities and chances to get up close to live specimens it will be a session your class will remember. Each session is completely free and lasts around ninety minutes (including a break and time in the gallery with the Singing Insects display). We do have some flexibility with the start and finish times and length so we can plan the session to suit you. We can cater for up to 30 pupils in a session but if you want to bring more you are more than welcome to book extra sessions and have other pupils looking around the Museum.
