LOCATION:Events taking place throughout the UK.
DESCRIPTION: A night of moth recording events across the whole of the UK. Participants record moths from their chosen location. The data is then pooled to create an extensive survey of moth species across the British Isles. This is the eleventh such event and will take place on the nights of Friday 18th and Saturday 19th September 2009. Two nights are included because of the eccentricities of the weather at that time of year. The theme of National Moth Night 2009 will be migration and there will not be any specific target species or habitats.
