Inaugural Vitacress Conservation Trust Annual Environment Lecture

20070327T173000 20070327T000000 The first in a series of lectures hosted by the University of Southampton in recognition of the environmental work being undertaken by the Vitacress Conservation Trust (VCT). The Vitacress Conservation Trust (VCT), whose Patron is former University of Southampton Chancellor Lord Selborne, has been established to help preserve and conserve wildlife and habitats predominantly associated with watercress and other salad crops. It is undertaking research into wildlife and eco-systems connected with chalk streams and other habitats associated with these crops. Results from this research will be publicly communicated in order to increase widespread awareness of the issues. The VCT is closely associated with the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust. 5:30pm Refreshments; 6:00pm Lecture Lecture free to attend, but tickets required.
