SUMMARY:AES Young Entomologists' Day 2017
LOCATION:The Cole Museum, University of Reading, Whiteknights Road, Reading, RG6 6UA, UK.
DESCRIPTION: Beginning at 11 am and finishing at 4 pm, this is a day for Bug Club members and other young entomologists to give a talk about insects, and to experience some entomology at the University of Reading. The day will be led by Dr Amanda Callaghan. Dr Graham Holloway will give a talk on chemical ecology in insects, and there will be an insect defence demo. We will also be able to explore the university grounds and ponds dipping and do some lab work on aquatic insects. The University of Reading is in the process of finalising its two new MSc courses in entomology, so this is a good opportunity for anyone planning an entomological career to find out more and get to know the department! If you would like to attend then please book online. Related documents: * Presenter booking form * Guidelines for presenters 2017
