DESCRIPTION: What does the future hold for wildlife in our woodlands? How can changing markets for woodland products, and modern management techniques, leave room for biodiversity alongside productive forestry? This one-day conference is aimed at woodland managers, conservationists, scientists and everyone working to ensure that woodland management allows our unique woodland biodiversity to thrive. Presentations will cover a wide range of woodland biodiversity including birds, mammals, plants and Lepidoptera, as well as providing case studies of conservation action and implications for forestry policy.
