Biological recording
Biological recording is the diligent recording of biodiversity, coupled with the use of computers to process this information, and to learn from it.
Biological recording is an important aspect of the activities of amateur entomologists. While professional scientists do have a role to play, it is acknowledged that the major effort in biological recording involves the amateur entomological community.
