Xanthochromism
Xanthochromism is the name used to describe an animal's colouration that shows an unusually high level of yellow pigment. Xanthochromism is relatively common in birds but can also be observed in some Hymenoptera where adults are predominantly yellow in colour rather than a more common yellow and black.
