Request AES attendance at an event

The Amateur Entomologists' Society is able to attend events and help run insect-related activities for other groups and organisations. The society can provide talks on many different entomological and conservation topics aimed at a wide range of different age groups. The AES can also run, or provide experts for, butterfly walks, bug safaris or other field-based activities.

The society receives a large number of requests to attend or help run events every year and unfortunately we don't have the resources to attend all of them. Inevitably we have to prioritise attendance based on the type of event, its location and we naturally give higher priority to requests from current members of the society. For example, we're more likely to give a talk to an after-school club if that school (or a teacher at the school) is a member of the Amateur Entomologists' Society.

If you would like to request AES attendance at an event please submit a request using our contact form. Please make sure you provide us with the following information when submitting the request:

Please note that, although we try to attend as many events as possible, submitting a request via the Web site does not guarantee our attendance.
