Two-pronged bristletails (Class: Diplura)

The Diplura are similar in appearance to the Thysanura but they only have the two cerci, and do not have the central epiproct (spine). They are pale and blind and have antennae.
They can be found under stones, in compost or under fallen leaves. They feed on decaying plant matter.
