Linnean Learning's Nature Month for 12-16 year olds

03 August 2020 01:00 - 28 August 2020 01:00

Location: Online

Event description

Free online event for 12-16 years olds, booking required, places limited. We are very excited to announce that August is Linnean Learning's Nature Month for 12-16 year olds. Each week we will introduce a new role model who engages with nature in a different way - it could be through art, science, dance, literature or something else.

Our aim is to showcase the diversity of people already involved in the study of nature and natural history, as well illustrate the diversity of opportunity available for anyone studying the natural world, covering art, history and literature as well as the sciences.

Each week, the role model will tell our participants a little about themselves and then outline a creative project for them to complete by the end of the week. Participants will also have opportunities to engage with us online, in a safe space frequently used by schools and educators.

You can participate in all four weeks if you'd like, but spaces are limited so please only book onto week's that you can commit to.
