Natural History Live: Carrion Beetles
21 September 2020 19:00 - 20:00
Location: Online
Event description
The Silphidae family, also known as Carrion Beetles, are a very interesting group of insects. As their common name suggests, many of them are associated with carrion. There are only 21 species recorded from the UK and most of these are reasonably large in size, making identification a little bit easier than some groups! In this session we'll be joined by Ashleigh and Matt from the Silphidae Recording Scheme who will tell us more about these beetles.
