Bugs, Birds and Beasts Day is an outdoor celebration of the natural world, packed with exciting activities and discoveries for everyone.

Meet the experts!

Get hands-on with nature through interactive activities and fascinating facts - all delivered by the scientists and students who study and work at Imperial Silwood Park.

Learn how the wildlife around us enriches our lives:

  • Watch live bird eggs hatch
  • Marvel at thrilling falconry displays
  • Get involved in hands-on activities and uncover fascinating facts about local creatures
  • Try your hand at pond dipping and see what lives below the water's surface.
  • Join a guided butterfly walk and spot these beautiful insects in action.
  • With even more exhibitions and experiences added this year, there's something for everyone - come and explore the wonders of nature!

Food & Drink: Enjoy a variety of delicious options from local food vendors (available for purchase throughout the day), or feel free to bring your own picnic.

Travel: On-site parking is limited, so we kindly encourage visitors to use our free half-hourly shuttle bus service to and from Ascot Station whenever possible.
