Quekett Microscopical Club - Brush up your Microscopy Skills

13 June 2008 23:00 - 23:00

Location: Didcot, Oxfordshire, UK

Event description

This workshop follows on from the successful workshop held in 2007. It will be a hands-on day, concentrating on using various optical systems to help in understanding the basis of the formation of a good microscopic image. We invite you to bring your microscopes and sample slides - the demonstrators will show you how to get the best image.

We will be inviting a few people from outside the club membership to join in the workshop - this adds an extra dimension and we will meet microscopists with different interests.

The demonstrators will include Phil Robinson, Don Thomson, Bryan Tabor and Tony Dutton.

The venue is very close to the railway station in Didcot where there are fast trains from London. There is also adjacent parking for cars.

The cost for the day will be £14. Bring a packed lunch but tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.
