Wonderful Wildlife Festival

Location: Lewes Railway Land Nature Reserve, Lewes, East Sussex, UK.
Event description
Thi sfree event, organised by by the Railway Land Wildlife Trust and Lewes District Council opens with a childrens' Wildlife Fancy Dress Parade.
There will be tree, dragonfly and birdwatching trails, and a display of the moths that were caught the night before on the Reserve. Pond dipping and bug hunts will be followed by the chance to see the minibeasts enlarged by video projection, in the new Linklater Pavilion. Willow sculpture workshops, paper butterflies, fossils, basket making, information stalls from the RSPB, Woodland Trust, Sussex Wildlife Trust and many other conservation organisations all add up to a wonderful celebration of local wildlife.
