Location: The Moors National Park Centre, Whitby, North Yorkshire, UK.
Event description
Celebrate the international year of biodiversity with a full day exploring the habitats in the National Park. Children will have a go at mammal trapping, minibeast hunting using sweep nets and pooters, stream dipping, bird watching, identifying trees and playing wild flower bingo! Children will be supervised over lunchtime so please bring a packed lunch. Please note that there is a short uphill walk to the stream over uneven ground. Suitable for children aged 7 and over. All children under 9 to be accompanied by an adult.
Admission cost: £15, Pre-booking required
