Bersted Brooks Open Day

12 June 2010 10:00 - 15:00

Location: Bersted Brooks, Rowan Way, Bognor Regis, PO22 9RP

Event description

Together with Arun District Council's Parks & Green Spaces Dept The Friends of Bersted Brooks are holding an Open Day to both celebrate the International Year of Biodiversity & to make the official announcement that Bersted Brooks has been awarded Local Nature Reserve status by English Nature.

The entrance to Bersted Brooks is signposted on Rowan Way and, as well as our small car park, we will be providing overflow parking.

Our website is usually up-to-date & will contain more information about the Open Day as soon as it's confirmed. Already we know that members of the Green Wood Workers group, based at Amberley, will be bringing their pole lathe & demonstrating wood working skills. We will provide refreshments throughout the day & equipment needed for the activities, although a pair of binoculars is always useful! If anyone intends staying all day they should bring a picnic with them.
