The conference is Wildlife Gardening Forum's contribution to the 2010 International Year of Biodiversity, concentrating on garden biodiversity and garden science.

Highlights include the first results from the Forum's Plants for Bugs study at RHS Wisley, and the national launch of Dr Jennifer Owen's new book "Wildlife of a Garden: A Thirty Year Study".  Jenny Owen pioneered the science of garden ecology, and this year received the RHS Veitch Memorial Medal for her work.  Ken Thompson will be giving an address to explain just how seminal her work has been. Copies of the book will be available at discount price at the meeting.
