Event description
Craig Macadam of Buglife and the Ephemeroptera Recording Scheme will tutor a two day course which will involve the collection and identification of aquatic invertebrates from the various water bodies near the idyllically located University of Glasgow field station on Loch Lomond. The purpose of day one is to introduce freshwater invertebrates and how to sample and identify them. Day two will focus on the identification of mayfly and stonefly larvae.
