Location: Lydiard Park, Swindon, Wiltshire, UK.

Event description

On 4th June in the evening there will be moth and bat walks for the public and recording sessions. These will be running from 9pm, booking is required for the Bat Walk.

On 5th June during the morning there will be a County Recorders recording event. The main public event will take place in the afternoon of 5th June from 1.30pm until 4pm. Come along and see what wildlife you can find in Lydiard Park! Experts will be on hand to help identify your findings, and there will be activities including pond dipping and mask making, as well as a wide range of stalls and displays. A variety of walks will take place throughout the afternoon, including small mammal trapping, mammal tracks and signs, butterflies, and amphibians and reptiles. The event is free and there is no need to book, however you do need to book a place to go on the wildlife walks.
