Moths of The Old Brickfield SNCI, Seaford
01 July 2011 20:45 - 22:59
Location: Buckle Drive, Seaford, East Sussex (TV471995)
This small Lewes District Council-owned reserve is managed by the Friends of the Old Brickfield. It is a former clay pit and tidal inlet but today is mainly grassland with a small area of seasonal marsh and an established freshwater pond. Two or three traps will be running to target coastal and saltmarsh moth species such as Crocidosema plebejana, Dolicarthria punctalis and Channel-islands Pug. Friendly dogs on leads are welcome.
