Annual Open Day at Lydford Butterfly Conservation Reserve

Location: National Trust Waterfall Car Park, Lydford, UK.

Event description

Joint meeting between The Devonshire Association with the Devon Branch of Butterfly Conservation for their Annual Open Day at Lydford Butterfly Conservation Reserve. Target species are Heath, Pearl-bordered and Small Pearl-bordered Fritillaries.

Please telephone in advance if you intend to come. Wear stout boots and clothing to cover arms and legs against tick attack. It is intended to visit the adjacent Forestry Authority land in addition to the Reserve. The excursion will extend into the afternoon. Bring lunch.

Members of the AES are able to attend events organised by the Devonshire Association but please contact the organiser in advance.
