Dragonfly trip to Smallhanger

Location: Smallhanger, SW Dartmoor, Devon, UK.
Event description
Joint meeting between the Devonshire Association and British Dragonfly Society.
A wide range of species are found at this threatened site, which includes the Small Red and Scarce Blue-tailed Damselflies, Common Hawker, Keeled Skimmer, Black Darter and perhaps the Red-veined Darter and Fairy Shrimp. Bring wellies and lunch.
Members of the AES are able to attend events organised by the Devonshire Association but please contact the organiser in advance.
