Garden Bioblitz 2013
01 June 2013 - 02 June 2013 23:59
Location: Gardens across the UK.
Event description
What's a Garden Bioblitz? It's a list of all the wildlife you can find in your garden over a 24hr period.
You don't need any specialist skills, and you don't have to "Blitz" your garden for the whole 24hrs, just go out at different times, take lots of photos and tell us what you see.
If you want to concentrate on entomological records - that's absolutely fine!
Garden Bioblitz will even help you identify your photographs, via iSpot or Twitter, and help you record them on iRecord.
It's not only fun to do, it's also a great way of contributing to the UK's National Biodiversity Network (NBN) database of data.
