Can ants and bees teach us anything?

14 October 2013 15:00 - 17:00

Location: Charles Darwin House, 12 Roger Street, London, WC1N 2JU, UK.

Event description

Help us support Professor Adam Hart through the final two hours of his Biology Week 24-hour 'Lecturethon' celebrating the wonder of ants and bees.

Come and join us from Monday 14th October 2013 as Adam talks through the final 2 hours and celebrate his success - this final session will be entitled: 'Can ants and bees teach us anything?' Ants and Bees live in societies and face similar challenges. Adam will explore the ways that humans have drawn inspiration from the world of ants and bees and improved the way we do things.

We'll be celebrating during this final session with something 'sparkling' - early evening refreshments and drinks - as Adam finishes the event introducing some of the chemical and biological wonders of honey, the 'golden treasure' that bees produce...

The event is FREE but BOOKING IS ESSENTIAL.
