An introduction to Spiders and their identification to the family level

Event description

The workshop will begin with an introduction to the biology and ecology of spiders, to their collection and curation, and to the external structures used in keys to their identification. This will be followed by a practical session dealing with the identification of spiders to the family level. A future workshop will deal with their identification to species level.
