Identifying larval dragonflies and damselflies course

Event description

This Freshwater Biological Association course focuses on the larval stages and exuviae of British Odonata. It will include field and laboratory identification, biology and an overview of dragonfly ecology and life histories, and sampling methods.

The course will be run by Steve Brooks and Steve Cham. Steve Brooks is a freshwater insect specialist at the Natural History Museum, London, and author of the British Wildilife 'Field guide to dragonflies and damselflies of Britain and Ireland'. Steve Cham is the organiser of the Dragonfly Recording Network and author of the recently published 'Field guide to the larvae and exuviae of British dragonflies'.
