Bug Club Residential Camp, 2016
20 August 2016 14:00 - 23 August 2016 14:00
Location: Dr Beynon's Bug Farm, Lower Harglodd Farm, St Davids, Pembrokeshire, SA62 6BX, UK.
This is a 4-day residential trip to the recently established Dr Beynon's Bug Farm, in Pembrokeshire, South West Wales. The event is intended primarily for Bug Club members and their guests, but we might be able to accommodate other young entomologists - please check with the AES Secretary if you are not a member.
In addition to being a centre for entomological research, Lower Harglodd Farm is a working farm, and we will be camping - so, you would need to bring a tent.
This visit will be subsidised by the AES, but we might need to charge an attendance fee, depending on the final costs. If so, this will be publicised closer to the time. However, if we do need to charge, we will ensure that no young entomologist will be unable to attend for financial reasons.

There are various bug attractions on site, including a bug house and a bug kitchen. We will be exploring the local insect fauna by means of moth traps and beetle traps and listening to talks etc.
This event was organised by the AES.
