Event description

This half day course, run by Bryan Pinchen,looks at how to set up an insect reference collection and how to preserve insects so that they can be handled and stored without damaging them. Using specimens provided participants will learn how to pin specimens and also where to pin them, as there are different positions for different orders.

The workshop is suitable for anyone aged 18 and over and will include various talks and demonstrations.

Cost: £15.00 (to include tea/coffee)
