Event description

It's A Bug's World returns to Bedford for an informal, educational event and warmly welcomes everyone to this fun packed day. There will be activities available for the whole family and all indoor!

We will have entomologists, aspiring entomologists and animal keepers at the event who will be happy to discuss their passion and keen to talk about their own animals that they have.

Here are just a few of the activities which will be taking place throughout the day:

In the Main Room:

  • Static and interactive displays;
  • Invertebrates available to purchase;
  • Animal equipment and other dry goods;
  • Pinned invertebrates;
  • Live food;
  • Gifts and goodies;
  • Children's entertainment;
  • Children's bug activity corner;
  • Entomology reading area;
  • Refreshments;
  • General display information on invertebrates and conservation.

In the Education Room:

  • Delivered talk on DWA / Venomous Animal Keeping and Handling;
  • Creepy Crawley Kids Club session.

Free parking is available by the event including disabled spaces and there are several other free car parks just a few minutes walk from the event.
