Bumblebee Identification Workshop 2019

Event description
Most people are familiar with bumblebees as several species visit gardens. Learn how to separate bumblebees from similar looking insects and how to identify the 24 species found in Britain. The afternoon will be spent on Portsdown Hill looking at bumblebees in the field and applying the identification techniques learnt in the morning.
Tutor: Bryan Pinchen, consultant entomologist and author.
£25 / £15 with Leisure Card
Suitable for adults aged 18+. Ideal for beginners and those looking to improve their insect identification skills.
