Location: Bristol Museum and Art Gallery, Queens Road, Bristol BS8 1RL, UK.

Event description

Come and learn about insects from the UK and around the world! Meet insect experts, have your bugs identified, create your own minibeast and enter the wonderful world of insects on Saturday 17th August at the Bristol Museum and Art Gallery.

There will be lots of fun activities and demonstrations throughout the day - from bug hunts outdoors to a behind the scenes tour of the museum. You can build and draw your own insects, meet insect artists and see their stunning work, and learn about beetles, bees, butterflies and much much more.

This will be the second Insect Festival held in Bristol. The event has been organised by the Royal Entomological Society and the Bristol Museum and Art Gallery to celebrate everything with six legs and let people of all ages explore how fascinating and important insects truly are.
