The secret life of flies talk

15 August 2019 20:15 - 21:15

Location: Bristol Museum and Art Gallery, Queens Rd, Bristol, BS8 1RL, UK

Event description

Carriers of disease, spreaders of plagues, and spoilers of food - there is nothing to like, right?

Dr Erica McAlister, Senior Curator at the Natural History Museum and President of the AES, aims to dispel these myths and introduce us to the crazy world of the fly.

Fall in love with flies and find out why insects are so crucial to our ecosystems. The talk will be based on stories from Dr McAlister's book, The Secret Life of Flies.
