AES receives funding from OPAL and W.F. Southall Trust
Published: 15 December 2009
The Amateur Entomologists' Society is pleased to announce that we have received a grant of £800 from the OPAL project (Open Air Laboratories http://www.opalexplorenature.org/) towards the cost of promotional materials and IT equipment.
In addition, we have acted on behalf of the Tachinid Recording Scheme so that they could obtain an OPAL grant of £2000 towards essential equipment which will place their activities on a firm footing.
We have also been promised £1000 from the W.F. Southall Trust, which will enable Council member David Tatham to progress an AES Bug Garden project with a local scout group.
