AES receives funding from OPAL and W.F. Southall Trust

The Amateur Entomologists' Society is pleased to announce that we have received a grant of £800 from the OPAL project (Open Air Laboratories towards the cost of promotional materials and IT equipment.

In addition, we have acted on behalf of the Tachinid Recording Scheme so that they could obtain an OPAL grant of £2000 towards essential equipment which will place their activities on a firm footing.

We have also been promised £1000 from the W.F. Southall Trust, which will enable Council member David Tatham to progress an AES Bug Garden project with a local scout group.
