The Amateur Entomologists' Society is pleased to announce the publication of the new look Entomologist's Record and Journal of Variation. For the first time the cover features a photograph of an insect. However, the history of the publication has not been lost. The illustration by Frohawk is retained and used on the contents page.

The first issue of 2010 includes articles on the first record from mainland Britain of Stegania cararia, a paper on Footman moths and moths new to the Isle of Wight in 2009.
