Join the Natural History Museum Bioblitz
Published: 01 May 2011
AES members will be participating in the Natural History Museum's celebration of International Day of Biological Diversity on Sunday 22nd May.
We will be recording and adding to the species list for the museum's Wildlife Garden, and there will be other activities at the venue. The event has been organised by the museum, and is also open to non-AES members to attend.
The weekend will involve a Bioblitz of the museum grounds, focussing on the wildlife garden and the east and west lawns, and the outdoor sections of the 'Sensational Butterflies' exhibition. The aim is to build up a list of species recorded in the garden.
This event will mark the start of the UN's Decade on Biodiversity. It will run from 6pm Saturday 21st to 6pm Sunday 22nd May, with the main public activities happening on Sunday from 11am.
If you would like to participate please email firstname.lastname@example.org - or just turn up!
