Take part in our Young Entomologists' Day

Published: 06 May 2014

This weekend the AES holds its annual Young Entomologists' Day at Oxford University's Museum of Natural History. We usually have around 14 children giving a talk, though this year there are more slots available than usual - so, if you are a budding entomologist who would like to give a short talk, or 'show and tell', about his or her entomological interests, let us know.

Also on the day there will be an optional 'drawing through the microscope' workshop run by a renowned wildlife artist; a curation workshop; (large) live insect handling sessions; and tours of the Hope Entomological Collections by Darren Mann, who heads up the museum (and is a former Bug Clubber!).

Non-members of the Bug Club are also eligible to take part, or just come along to enjoy the day at one of the best entomological museums in Britain.

Further details can be found on the Young Entomologists' Day 2014 events listing.
