AES council member wins public engagement award

Victoria Burton from the Natural History Museum/Imperial College, and AES council member, has been given a Public Engagement Award by the British Ecological Society (BES). The award recognises the outstanding role BES members have played in delivering the society's public engagement programme:

The BES award:

... recognises students and Early Career Researchers, who have made an outstanding contribution to the delivery of the Society's public engagement programme. These are members who have contributed to the programme, above and beyond our expectations, and have shown leadership in the delivery of training and activities.
