If you're interested in invertebrates and natural history, why not follow the Amateur Entomologists' Society (AES) on social media?

You can find us on Twitter and Facebook, and our brand-new YouTube channel.

All our social media channels are open to the public for anyone with an interest in entomology. Many of the society's volunteers and members are active across our channels and contribute a wealth of information and resources to help promote the study and conservation of insects among amateurs and the young.

We welcome everyone from novices to serious experts and professionals, of all ages. Come and join the conversation today and share your photos, tips and questions with other nature enthusiasts!

Twitter

A source of regular news and updates from the world of entomology, including AES events and activities, and relevant content from AES partners and friends.

Facebook

An interactive group where anyone can share photos and questions about insects they have found. Members of the AES and other entomologists are very active on Facebook, providing identifications in a variety of areas.

This group is not intended to be somewhere for people to buy or sell specimens or equipment. However, up to two ads per individual member, per annum, will be tolerated, provided they are of genuine entomological interest and of potential value to group members.

YouTube

An educational channel, available to amateur entomologists of all ages and in particular AES Bug Club members.

We create and curate videos on all things entomology including insect orders, field techniques, guides for complete beginners, demonstrations, feature interviews with entomologists and cool content created by our very own Bug Clubbers.

We're actively seeking video content from young enthusiasts to help inspire the next generation of entomologists. Do you have any advice and tips for keeping bugs as pets? Do you have a question you'd like answered by one of our experts? Have you made an interesting observation you'd like to share with other insect lovers?

Send your videos or questions to bug-club@amentsoc.org
