a device for extracting animals from soil or leaf litter. - Vortis sampler
a type of insect suction sampler that is said not to harm the insects collected. - Wine rope
a way of attracting moths. An absorbent rope or piece of fabric is soaked in a sugar and wine solution that attracts moths.
