Chilopoda
The Chilopoda are a group of predatory arthropods more commonly known as centipedes. Despite centipede meaning hundred feet they usually have no more than 40-50 legs.
Centipedes are ferocious predators with some tropical species reaching 30cm and capable of feeding on frogs, small rodents and birds. Venom is delivered through hollow fangs.
